INFO FOR SKI SCHOOLS + PROGRAMS

Our mission is to help make your introduction with first-time skiers the absolute best experience possible by bridging the gap between instruction and practice.

Not only does SkiRing bridge the gap between what is instructed and the actual practice of those fundamental skills on the slopes, but it is also a much more professional and innovative way to do so. In comparison to hula hoops, coffee lids, pieces of rope, “pretend” cafeteria trays, or bamboo poles, SkiRing® outshines and outlasts.

More Effective Teaching + Learning

SkiRing can help your students and first-time skiers successfully put into practice the sound instruction and fundamentals your instructors are already teaching.

Consider making SkiRing a part of your welcome or learn to ski packages to provide potential skiers with an attractive deal to help them get started. Should you choose to include a SkiRing for them to use, keep, or eventually “trade back” for a patch, they will have the ability to continue to practice outside of class.

SkiRing allows the new student to take to the bunny hill or other terrain-based learning area with confidence while continuing to build on those fundamental skills learned during instruction.

SkiRing® is an Official Supplier of the PSIA-AASI.

Consider using SkiRing through ALL beginner levels. As beginners advance to the next more difficult green slope, they will be or can be fearful once again. Repeating learned skills and using SkiRing will support the skier’s emotional well-being, and set them up for a successful transition to the next slope. SkiRing is also very helpful when snow conditions change, easing into this unfamiliar environment can be very overwhelming to new skiers.

Utilizing SkiRing can encourage students to spend more time and have more positive experiences on your slopes, making the next session that much more effective and fruitful for both the new skier and instructor.

Ultimately, our goal is to help you reduce drop-out rates and increase conversion rates from beginners to avid or lifetime skiers. In turn, we suspect this will improve long-term sales of season passes and further secure the success of your business into the future.
